Police Release Photos of TD Bank Robbery Suspect

A man robbed the TD Bank branch on River Road Monday around 2:19 p.m., Fair Lawn police said.

Fair Lawn police Tuesday released surveillance images of the man who allegedly robbed the TD Bank on River Road Monday afternoon.

The suspect, described as an approximately 6-foot tall, 170-pound black male between 25 and 30 years of age with some facial hair, can be seen in the photographs wearing a light brown Adidas hooded sweatshirt, black winter gloves and a dark colored cap.

Police said he entered the bank around 2:19 p.m. Monday and passed the teller a note demanding money. Bank employees told police that the suspect neither spoke nor brandished a weapon. After receiving the money -- approximately $2,800 -- he made off on foot in the direction of Fair Lawn Avenue, police said.
