Police: Teen Cut Himself, Claimed He Was Slashed in Robbery

A Fair Lawn man has been charged with filing a false report after accidentally cutting himself with a knife and claiming he was slashed during a robbery in a pharmacy parking lot.

Nicholas Conklin, 19, who cut himself while sitting in a car, initially told authorities he was attacked late Tuesday night when he was trying to buy gum at the River Road Walgreens, according to NJ.com.
