Fair Lawn Remembers Victims of 1983 Terrorist Attack

The borough will also hold a Veterans Day ceremony Monday.

The Fair Lawn Police Department's Honor Guard held a ceremony October 23 in honor of the 241 victims of the 1983 terrorist attack against a U.S. Marine Corps barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.

The event marked the 30th anniversary of the attack.

Fair Lawn will also be marking Veterans Day Monday with a flag ceremony outside of the municipal building starting at 2 p.m.
