Ribbon-Cutting Held For Blue Hill Park
Fair Lawn purchased the land with money from the Green Acres program earlier this year.
Local officials gathered to hold a ribbon-cutting at the Blue Hill Avenue park Saturday morning.
Fair Lawn closed a deal to purchase the land from a developer for $312,000 earlier this year, using money from the state's Green Acres program.
Officials previously said the land would likely remain a passive park because the use of Green Acres money bars any construction on the site.
