Is Mass Transit Ready for the Super Bowl?

Officials say they're ready for thousands of Super Bowl fans, but some recent snafus have commuters concerned.

STOP the Super Bowl until the whole system is replaced ...we can't have this... but make sure the transit system runs only on wind power, provided by Christie speeches.

The MTA doesn't got to MetLife stadium so why is the MTA being ready a concern? Why not worry about PATCO while we're at it, too.

It is fine. My only complaint is that they took my double decker trains for the super bowl and I had to be crowded all week in the regular cars. I think NJT runs great most of the time, and not sure where people think they can get a better deal then less than $10/day round trip ($250, probably 125 on pre tax dollars, and 22 work days in a month). Take a car service if you do not like it

Don't know where S_O_G pays his fare, but 1) the roundtrip fare to Manhattan from Summit is $19.50 per day; 2) the monthly cost is $273; and 3) Congress effective Jan. 1 lowered the monthly commuter tax benefit to $130 from $245 (while raising the parking benefit to $250 per month from $245).
