Police have arrested and charged three Saddle Brook teens they saytried to commit an armed robbery of a deliveryman.

Xhonero Shehu and Justin Glazer, both 18, were charged with first-degree armed robbery, forgery and theft by deception. Glazer was also charged with possession of a handgun and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Lakhwinder Singh, 18, was charged with hindering apprehension.

Joel "The Beast" Pointdujour faces two charges of attempted murder for an incident in which he allegedly stabbed two men, according to media reports.

Members of the Fair Lawn Council have decided on a name for the new street to be built in the Fair Lawn Promenade development.

"Albee Palmieri Place" will benamed to honor the memory of a longtime borough resident and advocate for veterans who died earlier this year.
