Fair Lawn's Arboretum, Then and Now [Video]
Two videos -- one from the planting stage and one from the present stage -- of Garden Committee member Jim Vanderbeck giving a visual tour of Fair Lawn's Arboretum along Fair Lawn Avenue.
Check out the difference from when the arboretum was just getting off the ground (Wayne Robbins' video) to the present day video. In both, Garden Commtitee member Jim Vanderbeck discusses how Fair Lawn's Arboretum came to fruition and offers a brief tour and explanation of some of the trees and bushes that have been planted.
For information on Fair Lawn's bird sanctuary, which is adjacent to the arboretum, made last fall by Cornell Christianson.
