Recycling Pick-Up Canceled Friday
Pick-up in Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook was rescheduled to Saturday.
Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook officials announced that recycling scheduled for Friday would be rescheduled to Saturday.
Borough officials also asked that residents do not put out their recycling until Saturday morning to prevent materials from blowing around in the storm.
Officials announced the cancellations as a winter storm approached the area. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning from 6 p.m. Thursday to 1 p.m. Friday. The Service predicted between 4 and 8 inches of snow would fall in area.
