Council Meeting, Teen Advisory Board, Free Soccer Clinic This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook.
The Fair Lawn Library's Teen Advisory Board meets from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Monday. The board gives teens an opportunity to help the library, make new friends and earn volunteer hours.
The Fair Lawn Planning Board is scheduled to discuss the school board's planned expansion at Westmoreland School during their work session meeting this week. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. in the municipal building. The agenda is available here.
The Saddle Brook Planning Board is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in town hall.
The Fair Lawn Council is scheduled to discuss speeding on Lyncrest Avenue and a Bergen County History Grant application during a work session meeting Tuesday. The council will hold their public session at 8 p.m. Monday in the municipal building. The full agenda is available here.
The Humanists of North Jersey will meet in the Fair Lawn Library at 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Legends Soccer Club will present a free youth soccer clinic at Van Riper Church Sunday afternoon. Email nan@happysoccerfeet.com to reserve a spot.
The Fair Lawn Jewish Center will host the fourth annual Back-to-Shul barbecue celebrating Sukkot Sunday at 3 p.m. The event costs $12 and $6 for children. Email gailfr2@verizon.net or cmgarfinkle@gmail.com by Friday to RSVP.
The Loft at Riverside Manor will hold a Sunday Afternoon Tea Dance at 3 p.m. with a DJ and cash bar. Cover is $10.
