Council Meetings, Free Chocolate Tasting, Barbra Streissand Tribute This Week
Here's a look at the week ahead in Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook.
There will be a free chocolate tasting event for adults at the Fair Lawn Library Monday at 7 p.m. Call (201) 796-3400 ext. 5 to register.
The Fair Lawn Planning Board meets at 7 p.m. Monday in room 201 at the municipal building for a work session and then hold a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers. The agenda is available here.
The Fair Lawn Council is scheduled to discuss a cell tower and several open space issues during their meeting this week. The agenda is available here. The council will hold a work session at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in room 201 at the municipal building.
The Saddle Brook Council will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in town hall. They will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The Fair Lawn Library will host a murder mystery event for teens entering grades seven through 12 Wednesday. The event starts at 6 p.m. Call (201) 796-3400 ext. 5 to register.
Fair Lawn's Historic Preservation Commission meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Community Center.
There will be a child health clinic from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday in municipal building room B-5.
The Fair Lawn Senior Center will host blood pressure screenings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday.
Barbra Streisand "tribute artist" Carla DelVillaggio will perform at the Community Center Saturday. The two shows start at 2 and 8 p.m.
There will be an opening reception for artist Barry Shiff's exhibit at the Fair Lawn Library's Pine Gallery Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The exhibit will be on display through August 30.
