Pancake Breakfast, Fire Department Open House, Family Fun Night This Week

Here's a look at the week ahead in Fair Lawn and Saddle Brook.

Author Chris Campanioni will visit the Fair Lawn Library at 7 p.m. Monday to talk and sign copies of his book, "Going Down."

The Fair Lawn Planning Board meets in the municipal building Monday, with a work session at 7 p.m. followed by a regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. The agenda is available here.

Fair Lawn Fire Company 1 at 12-34 George St. will hold an open house from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The Fair Lawn Council meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the municipal building. The agenda is available here.

The Fair Lawn Library is hosting weekly Scrabble games from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Fair Lawn resident and author Lisa Nicolaou will hold an info session about the 2014 Scholastic Arts and Writing Awards at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Fair Lawn Library.

Fair Lawn will host their second flu clinic from 8 to 10 a.m. in the municipal building Friday.

St. Anne's will hold a family fun night at 7 p.m. Friday to support their cheerleading team.

The Fair Lawn Athletic Club is celebrating their 90th anniversary Friday and Saturday.

Skyline Theatre Company will present "Funny Girl" at the Fair Lawn Community Center this weekend. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available online here or by calling 1-800-474-1299.

The Rotary Club of Fair Lawn will host their annual pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the American Legion. The event will raise funds for the ADA Advisory Committee and the inclusionary playground to be built at Berdan Grove. Tickets cost $7 and are available in advance from rotarians and members of the ADA Committee members.
