'Purple Day,' Rescue Squad Fundraiser This Weekend

Friday is "Purple Day" to create awareness of pancreatic cancer, a disease with a five-year survival rate of just 6 percent.
Memorial Middle School will hold a craft fair and holiday boutiquefrom 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The Fair Lawn Rescue Squad will hold a Thanksgiving fundraiser including raffles, a pumpkin pie eating contest and more from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
