Daphnes Hallmark was the destination of my choice today..as Spring has sprung...I typically purchase cards and gifts that will inspire , sensitive emotions..love and and good taste. Today..was just the right day...our country is in turmoil ..Boston tragedy....but when I decided to visit this beautifully decorated establishment I found expertise service...cordial interest to my needs and unique gift/card ideas. The new blossoming flowers were a definite hit for me...

I rate Daphnes as awesome...shopped here a few months ago..needed directions and found your location..this team of professional and couteous women greeted me with a smile and made me feel comfortable...the selection of cards and gifts are hi tech, innovative and desirable...this establishment meets my unique gift and card requirements and I certainly plan on bringing my mother-in;law with me next time....and that is my challenge..

I recently shopped at Daphnes Hallmark. The staff and sales associate were wonderful! She had great gift ideas and made my shopping experience pleasant. I left the store feeling good vibs. I also commend these ladies for patience and positive attitudes.

--NO STARS !!!! I will never go back to this store again.
As soon as I walked in, a pleasant blonde woman asked if I needed help, I told what I was looking for and that I ,also,wanted to look around. She advised me where the item was and left the store.
The older woman behind the counter with reddish/auburn hair is a vulture. She was harrassing this very young woman to buy this and that and this is on sale, as soon as she saw the young woman had a credit card. The young woman finally said she would come back another day.
The woman, then, set her sights on me and started asking me what I wanted , who was it for, was it a special occasion. I said that I had already found the item and put it on the counter to pay. She said "that's it ? don't you want a candy or something?" I told her I didn't appreciate how she treated the young woman and that I couldn't wait to leave and that I would never shop there again. She was very nasty yelling as I walked to the door.
There are a million card/ gift shops- find a different one !!!!!! - NO STARS !!!!!!

So happy with my Christmas purchases, this store sold out of the ornaments i had needed they called another sotre and had everything I needed within 24 hours cant wait to go back for more items (there was plenty of parking as well no lines)

This is one of the worst businesses I have ever stepped foot in. I have never seen a store run with such rude and nasty people. The women who run this store are horrible. I will never give them any business again. The 5 star reviews below seem fraudulent to me- and just a little fishy. I have reported this store to hallmark corporate headquarters and BBB. Don't waste you time here!

I just had the best experience I found all the Christmas gifts I needed one stop shopping, very pretty store very nice friendly staff!

I am a senior lady w physical complications..yet I find myself looking forward to visiting this Hallmark location. The attention I receive is one w kid gloves..I am offered a chair to sit on while the sensitive employees attend to my card and gift requirements. The ambiance is friendly, accomodating, and allow me the time to decide what I would like...even though at times my physical ailments take on a stressful time for the ladies. The store is run with efficiency and wholesome attitude.. The Gold Crowne reward coupons help me enjoy the lovely gifts I wish to purchase for my family and friends..and are accepted with professionalism and graciousness. I commend these ladies who attend to me and how they represent the Hallmark tradition.

This is a great store run an experienced team that has owned and managed hallmark businesses since the 1970's and 1980's throughout the Tri-State area. One of the few authentic mom and pop shops that actually can, and will go the extra mile for serious and loyal customers. If you are willing to pay a modest sum, as an exchange, for what you would like to take home & enjoy for yourself and others, there is not much they wont do to ensure you go home happy, and wanting to come back on a regular basis (Brooklyn or NJ they both call it "running a business for the consumer"...the writers below, should take a drink of water, and rethink their hardened accusations.

The lady who works at this location (most likely the owner and/or manager) is always very rude. I constantly go in to buy cards for various locations but it pains me to give business to that location. She needs to be more sincere with the customers and some of the employees there also. She offered the customer in front of me a "chance to win some money" if they filled out a survey because they bought a card and gift suggestion, yet when I went to purchase my card she just charged me and didn't even bother to offer me a "chance". I wish Hallmark would go in and check on how their policies and customer service are being adhered to. The people in the mall are friendlier and they usually have it worse.

Beautiful store - BAD BUSINESS! I have shopped here for 3 years, but I will never step foot in this store again. Over the years I have witnessed how rude the women who work here are to their customers, including myself. They are unprofessional, and their lack of concern for their business shows in they way treat the public. I was refused a return. I had to fight to get a store credit. I have preordered items and paid for them in full- only so at the time of pick up, they up the price and charge me extra! I have been hung up on when calling in on the phone. They run a horrible business, and it's a SHAME when the store is so lovely.

this store sucks, the owner followed me throughout the entire store suggesting the most ridiculous gift ideas ever, even after I explained that I did not need her help. I finally just left I couldn't take her anymore...Oh yeah a Snoopy stuffed animal is a great gift for a woman in her 50's. You cann ot be serious! I will never go there again. The only reason I'm giving it 1 star is because they make you otherwise I'd rate them a minus!

I also had a very bad experience at this store and will NEVER give them another penny! I hope alot of people read this prior to entering that store! They were completely unaccommodating!! They are extremely unprofessional and RUDE! LOL... "big" girl was there huffing and puffing because the phone was ringing while the woman at the register told me she couldn't return my item because I didnt have a receipt (not even store credit) while the item was purchased less than 10 days ago. I went home, searched for the receipt, found it and went back to hear she STILL couldn't return the item because her manager said so. WTF is that all about!!! Can't do business like that people! Hopefully new owners come in real soon and the nasties get the hell out of here and go back to Brooklyn where the came from!

Very bad experience. Simply wanted something reprinted. The "big" girl couldn't get her arms around the project. After several attempts, the scan quality was simply awful, besides being totally unprofessional. Then when I indicated I had hoped for better quality, "big" girl got extremely surly! Aside from all of this, the "big" girl kept me waiting an inordinate amount of time while she continued to put price stickers on items and doing things other than attending to my project. Though the shop has many types of cards, among other items for sale, there is no real organization to the running of the place. I can only echo the sentiments expressed by Michael Jones, Bruce Knuckle, Zuzu's Petals, and Phyllis. Totally unprofessional. I am taking my future business elsewhere, and will share my experience with my network of friends and colleagues. I clicked on "1" star, but even that is far too generous a rating, because there is not a "less than 0" star rating.

I had a really awful experience in this store today. They are rude, very unprofessional and nasty. I will NEVER shop here again!!!! MY experience was so bad that I called Hallmark corporate office to complain about them.

Very Annoying.trying to sell you Items that are over Priced. Item you can get from a Dollar store.
They send you coupon and when you try to use them they rather argue with about using it. If i was the owner i would take them....I rather give a 2 bucks off with coupon and game customer trust and make money not loose it.

If you be leave me see for your self look at the cards if the color of the envelopes look a bit yellowish it because of the Pest that urinate on them. They leave them in pest littered drawers under neath the sales gondolas.
