Originally a Korean-speaking church in Fort Lee, New Song moved to Fair Lawn in the spring of 1997. To accommodate college students and young professionals, the church launched its English-speaking ministry in 2007. Through Connect Groups, New Song helps college students and young professionals network, perform community service, and share their spiritual experiences.

New Song is part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, an Evangelical Protestant denomination which aims to develop dynamic and healthy local churches in the United States and around the world.
