My family had a very positive experience at VRECS. My son made an easy transition into our public school system. The staff is professional, experienced and nurturing. I would recommend VRECS to any and all who want their child to enjoy their first pre-school experience.

The Van Riper Ellis Christian School, a ministry of the Van Riper Ellis Broadway Baptist Church, offers education for children in pre-k and kindergarten and has been operating for the past 12 years. This is a licensed facility that complies with all state mandated requirements. Full and half day sessions are available to choose from. Before and after care are available from 7:30am to 6pm. The staff here consists of Early Childhood State Certified teachers who are also trained in CPR and First Aid.
The school also offers an afternoon enrichment program for kindergarten age children who attend public school. The Van Riper Ellis Christian School hopes to, “create a positive school environment, where learning to get along with others is a natural outcome”.

My son has attended VRECS for the past 2 years (PreK-4 and KG). Unfortunately he missed out on PreK-3 because at the time I did not realize the school was in such high demand, and filled up 8 months in advance! Aside from the wonderful teachers and stimulating curriculum, VRECS offers a monthly school assembly. From magic shows, to animal shows it is always first-class entertainment! One of my favorite things about VRECS is that it is truly a school environment, not a daycare facility. I will be sad when my son graduates this year, but, the good news is I have another son who is enrolled for this coming September! If you are looking into other schools, look no further – you have found a gem with VRECS.
