FLFA to Dedicate New Press Box At Super Bowl
The press box is being dedicated in memory of former Fair Lawn Football Association star Michael Anthony Motto.
The Fair Lawn Football Association will dedicate its new announcer booth Sunday prior to the Tri-County Youth Football League Super Bowl at Vander Plaat Field. The press box, which was funded and built primarily through volunteer contributions and donations, will be dedicated in memory of Michael Anthony Motto. Motto, who died in an accident in 1980 when he was only 10 years old, led the FLFA to two consecutive undefeated seasons and division championships in 1978 and 1979. Michael's brother, Richard, of Phoenix Flooring Company, donated the funds to purchase all of the lumber required for construction of the project.
