Christie Urges Republicans to Look Beyond 2013, Praises Bergen County [VIDEO]

Gov. Christie: “I intend on living here after I’m governor... and I do not want to live under a Democratic governor.”

Gov. Chris Christie told Bergen County Republicans Thursday that members of his party should work together to elect strong Republican candidates across New Jersey in the coming years. Christie, speaking at Bergen County Republican Organization Headquarters in Hackensack, urged the audience that strong Republican leaders and candidates are needed at all levels of government. “This can’t just be about me,” said Christie. “After we win re-election in November it’ll be just four more years that I can be governor and then I’m term limited. [We need] good candidates that can run for governor, run for the legislature, run for freeholder, run for local offices. If we don’t have that set up then we haven’t done as good of a job as we could.” The …

Eastside Rigewood dad - Bergen County has been hard core Republicans for centuries and its clear they run the public sector unions, to label them Dems is intentionally misleading. Fair Lawn Republicans Announce 2013 Borough Council Nominees

Dan Dunay and Amy Lefkowitz will run on the Republican ticket for borough council in 2013.

The Fair Lawn Republican Club's hopes for retaining a council majority in 2014 officially rest on Dan Dunay and Amy Lefkowitz. The organization announced Thursday that its members had chosen the two young Republicans as their 2013 borough council nominees. Dunay and Lefkowitz will run in lieu of Deputy Mayors Jeanne Baratta and Ed Trawinski, who intend to retire from public office after their terms expire at the end of the year. Dunay, a third generation Fair Lawn resident and principal at New York financial services firm Centerview Partners, said he was honored to receive the group's endorsement. This is also the one and only screen name I use here, and have made it clear to anyone offline who asks me what name I use here.
