FLDO 'War On Women' Panel Packs Senior Center
The event was sponsored by Democrat Clubs from four municipalities.
Local women expressed anger over what they felt were recent national and state legislative threats to women's rights and health care at a panel discussion Thursday night. Over 100 people turned out in the rain at the Fair Lawn Senior Center for the panel hosted by the Fair Lawn, Hawthorne, Glen Rock, and Paramus Democratic clubs, and the Fair Lawn Democratic County Committee. Panelists included State Senator Barbara Buono (D-Metuchen), Assemblywoman Connie Wagner (D-Paramus), and Michele Jaker, Executive Director at Planned Parenthood Affiliates of New Jersey.
