Fair Lawn Farmer's Market Open on the Fourth [Video]
The Fair Lawn Farmer's Market is open Wednesdays, including July 4, at the corner of Fair Lawn Avenue and Craig Road in the New Song Church parking lot.
The Fair Lawn Farmer's Market will have special holiday hours on Wednesday, July 4, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Normally, the farmer's market, sponsored by the Fair Lawn Garden Committee, runs every Wednesday through mid-October from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the New Song Church parking lot. Silver Lake Farm, located in Blairstown, is the market's primary vendor. Silver Lake sells an array of fresh produce, plants and flowers for a fair price. Other vendors include Fair Lawn's Nuts for You and a pickle and mushroom vendor, Mr. Pickle. "We try to appeal to the apartment dwellers," said Garden Committee member Jane Spindel, who coordinates the farmer's market.
