Teen Charged in River Road Commercial Burglaries
Police have charged a 17-year-old youth from Elmwood Park in connection with burglaries of Krauszer's and B&B Liquors over the weekend.
Aided by store surveillance footage, police have developed enough information to charge a local teen in connection with early morning burglaries at two River Road businesses last weekend. Police charged the 17-year-old Elmwood Park youth with two burglaries, alleging he broke into both Krauszer's Food Store and B&B Wines and Liquors on successive mornings this past Saturday and Sunday. Around 5:30 a.m. on April 7, police responded to the Krauszer's on River Road for a report of a loud noise outside the store and a suspicious male seen fleeing the scene on foot.
