Fair Lawn Bank Robberies Remain Unsolved

If you have any information on either robbery, contact the FBI at (973) 684-6614

FBI Closing In on Fair Lawn Bank Robber

The FBI has a lead on the man who robbed the Chase Bank at 21-01 Fair Lawn Avenue in July

The FBI may be close to identifying the man who robbed the Chase Bank nearly two months ago, Patch has learned. Just before 1 p.m. on July 2, a white male with a stubble beard wearing eyeglasses, a navy blue cap, a navy blue shirt and khaki pants, held up the Chase Bank at 21-01 Fair Lawn Ave. and fled the scene on foot. He did not show a weapon. FBI spokesman Bryan Travers said that while the matter was still under investigation, the man may soon be identified. “We have a very, very good lead that we’re following up on,” Travers said. “It’s a good chance this is probably our guy.” If you have any information pertaining to the robbery, you can contact the FBI at (973) 684-6614.
