The suspect and an alleged accomplice in the TD Bank robbery in Saddle Brook Friday morning are in custody, Saddle Brook Police Chief Robert Kugler said. The Chase Bank on Saddle River Road was robbed around 6 p.m. Thursday by a man carrying a claw hammer, police said. Two Fair Lawn men robbed a juvenile at knifepoint Wednesday night, making off with his iPhone and the marijuana he had come to sell them, according to police. Daniella's Track Side Grille, a longtime Fair Lawn family restaurant and bar, was seized by the state on Oct. 11 for non-payment of $40,000 in sales taxes and its future remains uncertain. A judge will determine whether Fair Lawn's amended Affordable Housing Plan meets Fair Housing Act Standards.
