FLHS Bands Play Disney World

The Fair Lawn High School Symphonic and Marching Bands spent a recent six-day trip performing for Disney visitors in Florida.

Fair Lawn High School band and color guard members performed for hundreds of Disney World visitors during a recent six-day trip to Florida. The Symphonic Band played a well-received 30-minute set on the Downtown Disney half-shell stage overlooking the water, and the Marching Band, color guard, winds and percussionists marched down Magic Kingdom's main street in the run up to the night's Electric Light Parade. This year's trip was the eighth that the high school bands, under the direction of Paul Kafer and assistant director Jamie Szeinberg, have been showcased in Disney events. -- Follow Fair Lawn-Saddle Brook Patch on Facebook and Twitter, and subscribe to receive our daily newsletter in your inbox each morning.
