Fair Lawn resident Avishai De Vries won a drawing for a 51-inch plasma television over the weekend, courtesy of Jack Daniels Volkswagen, located at 40-18 Broadway. The no purchase necessary raffle, which Jack Daniels held over the past two months, culminated on Saturday when De Vries was chosen from a pool of more than 200 entries. De Vries said when he received a phone call from the car dealership this weekend telling him that he'd won, he didn't believe it. "I thought it was an April Fool's joke," said De Vries, who purchased a Jetta from the dealership two months ago.
