Rapper Jim Jones Charged with Disorderly Conduct in Fair Lawn
Rapper Jim Jones was arrested Wednesday after an altercation with a Fair Lawn police officer outside his Ward Street home, police said.
Fair Lawn resident and rap mogul Jim Jones was arrested Wednesday after he "got out of line" with an officer who was handling a parking complaint in front of the Dipset founder's Ward Street home, police said. Jones, whose legal name is Joseph, was charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction for refusing to peaceably settle two outstanding warrants for his arrest, Lt. Derek Bastinck said. Sgt. James Corcoran was in the process of having a snowbound and illegally parked car outside Jones' home at the corner of Grunauer Place and Ward Street towed, when Jones approached him to ask what he was doing, police said.
