PHOTO: Fair Lawn Families Win Award for Well-Kept Properties
The Property Maintenance Committee presented the awards at the Dec. 6 Borough Council meeting
Two Fair Lawn families were presented awards Tuesday night by the Property Maintenance Committee for their well-maintained homes. Maintenance Committee members George Bate, Mark Spindel and Jim Vanderbeck presented the "House Beautiful" award to Charles and Martha Tischler, of 3 Ruskin Road; and Leonardo and Marina Llavore, of 9-22 Burbank St. Both homes were recognized as ones that add to the beautification of Fair Lawn and set an example for all residents. According to the Property Maintenance Committee, the "House Beautiful" award was created with the idea of "focusing attention on residents who have devoted so much time and effort to have their property’s enhance the beauty of Fair Lawn."
