Fair Lawn Partnerships Offer Military Morale Booster

The borough is working with Fair Lawn's own Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon and Cell Phones for Soldiers this holiday season to offer aid to service members stationed abroad.

Fair Lawn is keeping its local soldiers stationed abroad front of mind this holiday season. The borough and its police department have partnered with two military support organizations that distribute supplies to troops overseas and is asking that residents contribute to the cause. Collection boxes for both Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon and Cell Phones for Soldiers are now set up in various locations around town. Residents can find collection boxes for Fair Lawn-based Adopt-a-Soldier Platoon at the municipal building, public library, senior center and community center. Kudos to the Fair Lawn police deprtment and the borough for initiating this worth while program for our militsary serving overseas. Alan Krutchkoff"s Adopt-a-SoldierPlatoon program is a well organized national program, and deserves the support of our citizens.
