Jane Diepeveen is the municipal historian for Fair Lawn and a trustee and past president of the Fair Lawn Historic Sites Preservation Corp.which runs the borough's history museum. She is the author of the recently-published Fair Lawn New Jersey: Historic Tales from Settlement to Suburb, a history of the town from the local band of Lenape to today.
