ReplyJust to clarify- this investigation is only about whether the employee counts as a contractor or full salaried employee of the township. They're not looking at performance issues.

Regarding public input- these applications typically have a public comment period toward the end of the hearings, though anyone can come to listen to the testimony and question witnesses before then. I will post when the public comment time is approaching.

Regarding your question on the public input: anyone can question the witnesses who testify during the hearings (next one is March 19) and there's always a public comment portion toward the end of an application. I will post a heads-up when the board plans to hold the public comment time so anyone interested knows.

I believe it's door-to-door time. According to the census bureau, if it takes you more than 90 minutes, you're a "mega-commuter" (though I don't know what significance that title holds)

Reply@Barry- The DEP wanted the dam to be able to withstand a "1,000-year storm," which means it needs to let out about 30,000 cubic feet of water per second. Right now the dam is capable of releasing about 15,000 cfs.

Sorry if it wasn't clear- I believe the shuttle bus will be operating at Westwood (or Emerson?) and all stations north. I'll do a full post on how that will work closer to the date.
