A Coldwell Banker Real Estate survey finds Fair Lawn to be among New Jersey's most "booming suburbs."

The criteria, according to the real estate company, is based on "year-over-year levels of employment and unemployment percentages" below the national average, good schools, commuting by car, community safety, and business amenities.

Fair Lawn scored the second biggest 'boom' in Bergen County, scoring a 790.37 out of 1000, good for ninth in the state. The top six were from Morris and Somerset counties. Ridgewood and Paramus also made the top ten list, which is part of Coldwell Banker's "Best Places to Live" series.
