Charity Cut-a-Thon Supports Fair Lawn Family, ADA Playground

Hair stylists at Bellezza Salon in Glen Rock will volunteer their services Sunday as part of the Fair Lawn High School Interact Club's annual Cut-a-Thon.

The annual Fair Lawn High School Interact Club Cut-a-Thon will be held Sunday at Bellezza Salon in Glen Rock.

Bellezza's hair stylists will be volunteering their time from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. to offer men's and women's haircuts, blowouts, face-frame highlights and manicures at discounted rates with all sales proceeds going to two local causes.

Proceeds from this year's Cut-a-Thon will benefit the family of Sigi Nissimov and the Fair Lawn ADA Committee.

Nissimov, the owner of Life Movement Dance Studio in Fair Lawn, died of cancer earlier this year at the age of 43. The money raised at Sunday's Cut-a-Thon will help her family pay for medical bills and other expenses.

The money donated to the Fair Lawn ADA Committee will support its vision of building a barrier-free playground in Fair Lawn.
