Adult Education Lecture Series at Temple Beth Sholom

Adult Education Program of Temple Beth Sholom, Fair Lawn, will begin the year with a series of lectures with Rabbi Baruch Zeilicovich, entitled “Rethinking the Covenant” on Sunday mornings Oct 6, 20, 27 and Nov 3 at 10:30am. The program explores “What It Means to be the People of the Covenant” with four lectures:  “The Biblical Concept of Covenant”; “The Boundaries of Interpretation of the Covenant”; “What Makes the Covenant Alive”; and “State of Israel as a Covenant Opportunity”. This program is based on the theme of the Rabbinic Torah Study Seminar held at Hartmann Institute in Jerusalem this summer and brings together the thinking of over 100 Rabbis on these topics. There is no charge but registration is required.  Please register by calling 201-797-9321 Ext. 415 or Email AdultEd@tbsfl.org . Temple Beth Sholom is located at 40-25 Fair Lawn Avenue (corner of Saddle River Road).
