Auditions for the
Radburn Players’ fall production, Nora and Delia Ephron’s acclaimed Love, Loss
& What I Wore, will be held in the Club Room of the Radburn Association
Grange Hall, 29-20 Fair Lawn Avenue in Fair Lawn, on Tuesday, September 10 and
Wednesday, September 11 at 8pm. The Players are seeking up to five women, ages
30 to 70, with a knowledge of dialects.
Directed by Amy
Sellars and based on the bestselling book by Ilene Beckerman, Love, Loss &
What I Wore offers a series of intriguing monologues and ensemble pieces
covering women's relationships and wardrobes, and at times the interaction of
the two, using the female wardrobe as a time capsule of a woman's life.
The New York Times described the play as “a scrapbook of stories about unfortunate
prom dresses, the traumatic lighting in fitting rooms, high heels, short skirts
and the existential state of having nothing to wear.” The Players will
present the play on November 15, 17, 17, 21, 22 and 23, 2013.
Founded in 1930, The
Radburn Players is one of the oldest continually operating theater groups in
