Scurti Group Show: Lines that Form - Opening Reception

The works of 12 local artists: Susana Barbetti-Norton, Martha Boshart, Lori Buff, Bonnie Carlson Diana, Gloria C. Chen, Karen Floriani, Sue Jamieson, Theresa Mustafa, Julia Martone, Louise Ongaro, Diane Suter and Lucille Scurti.

The participating artists utilize lines as the basis for objects sculpted in clay and porcelain, architectural photography and paintings with line structures and formations created through color.

The centerpiece of the exhibit is a pottery display created by Lucille Scurti, a member of the Potters Guild of New Jersey and a retired art teacher from Fair Lawn High Scool.  Scurti employs the raku technique.  She has stdied under such well known potters as Cynthia Bringle, Paul Soldner and Tashiko Takaezu.
