Fair Lawn Hosting Fourth of July Fireworks Next Week

The borough will hold the annual celebration at Memorial Park Monday.

Fair Lawn will host its annual fireworks display celebrating the Fourth of July at Memorial Park Monday.

The park will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show is expected to start between 9 and 9:15.

Tickets at the event will cost $9 for adults, $7 for children and $6 seniors. Tickets can also be purchased in advance at a lower cost.

If there's rain, the fireworks will be held the next day or Sunday, July 7, if necessary.

Fair Lawn Fire Marshal Jay Bender is reminding residents that it's illegal and dangerous to hold their own fireworks displays.
